Nanded is a the second largest city in Maharashtra in Marathwada region .It is located on north bank of Godavari river.It is famous for Sikh Gurudwaras.Nanded was formerly known as Nanditat.

The climate of the place is moderate. The summers and rainy seasons are warm while winters are cool. The temperature varies between 16°C and 35°C. The best time to visit Nanded is from November to February.
